Tri-Shutter Card
Hi everyone, how are you doing. I recently made this Tri-Shutter card for my best friend. It's a bit tricky but not hard at all.
It's a special fold and great for any occasion. The reason it is called a tri-shutter or tri-fold card is because it has three folds in it.
Trishutter card is a unique and fun way to display photos or messages.
Here are the steps to make a tri-shutter card:
.
Materials needed: -
Cardstock paper -
Ruler -
Scissors or paper cutter -
Glue or double-sided tape -
Photos or decorations for the card
Instructions:
1. Cut a piece of cardstock paper to measure 11 x 5 1/2 inches.
2. Score the paper at 3 1/2 inches and 7 inches with a ruler.
3. Fold the paper at the scored lines to create three equal panels.
4. Cut two more pieces of cardstock paper, each measuring 3 1/4 x 5 1/4 inches.
These will be the inside panels of the card.
5. Attach the two smaller pieces of paper to the inside of the larger piece using glue or double-sided tape.
6. Decorate the front and inside of the card with photos or decorations as desired.
7. Fold the card closed, then fold it again in the opposite direction to create the trishutter effect.
Your Trishutter card is now complete!
